Cookies
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
What we collect and store
To access the e-learning site, you are required to provide an email address. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:
- Create your account for our LMS
- Send you information and notifications about your account
If you log in via the Microsoft Single Sign On option, this will grant us access to your basic Microsoft profile data (username, first name, last name and profile picture). Of this, we only use first name and surname, to ensure that there is a name associated with your learning profile.
We collect and store data on site usage on a per user basis. This includes:
- Last login date
- Number of pod visits, completions and time spent on each pod
- Stars and requests
- Browser name, browser version and device platform (this helps us optimise the site for browser compatibility for all of our users)
We store information about you for as long as your account exists. After your account is deleted, historical pod activity data will remain but will be anonymised so it cannot be associated with your name or other personal details. All identifiable personal details are completely deleted.
Who has access to your data
Members of our team have access to the information you provide us listed above.
Any additional information you provide as part of your user profile (e.g. department, job role, demographics) can also be visible to the administrator(s).
Who we share your data with
We may share site usage and progress reports with your Learning & Development department, or any other party who has commissioned this training for you, the user. This may include 1 to 3 from the list above, plus demographic information associated with your user profile.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Embedded content from other websites
Content on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
How long we retain your data
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information provided at registration in their user profile. Website administrators can also see and edit that information. All user data is stored in association with that user’s registration and will be retained while the user is active on the site. Once a user is deleted from the site, all associated data will also be deleted.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
